Self-employed, retiring before Medicare, or losing job-based insurance? Review your ACA Marketplace options, provider network, deductible, and total costs—not just the monthly premium.
A qualifying life event may create a Special Enrollment Period. Your event, dates, and eligibility must be verified by the Marketplace.
Kansas residents use HealthCare.gov for ACA Marketplace coverage. KanCare is the state’s Medicaid program. Marketplace and Medicaid eligibility follow different rules, so check the appropriate program rather than assuming you qualify or do not qualify.

What if my doctor is across the state line?
If you receive care in Missouri or another neighboring state, include those providers in your review. Living near a state line does not automatically make a provider in-network.
Can I enroll or change plans right now?
That depends on your coverage type and circumstances. Medicare and ACA have different enrollment rules. Bring the dates of a retirement, move, loss of coverage, or other recent change so we can review the next step.
Do you have a local office I need to visit?
No office visit is needed. George serves Kansas residents remotely by phone or video. Choose a time on the scheduling page and indicate your preferred way to meet.
What about international travel?
Your domestic coverage may be limited abroad. Visit the travel medical page to learn what to check before a trip and prepare for a separate travel coverage conversation.
